George Clooney reveals secret feud with Quentin Tarantino

has revealed he has a secret feud with as he admitted that he is ‘a little irritated by him’ after he made some savage comments.

The duo chatted enthusiastically about the directors they have collaborated with over the years, with Brad noting that he has worked with Tarantino on many occasions including Inglourious Basterds, and .

Clooney then spoke about working with the famed director on the film From Dusk Till Dawn.

Speaking to , Clooney said: ‘Listen, I did a movie with Quentin. He played my brother.’

Pitt then commented: ‘Oh, that’s right. He was pretty good in it too.’

Clooney corrected: ‘He was OK in it.’

Doubling down, Pitt said: ‘There’s a scene, I’m blanking on it. But he’s really good.’ Clooney then explained why he isn’t the biggest fan of his former co-star.

‘Quentin said some s**t about me recently, so I’m a little irritated by him.

‘He did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about you, and somebody else, and then this guy goes, “Well, what about George?” He goes, he’s not a movie star.

‘And then he literally said something like, “Name me a movie since the millennium.” And I was like, “Since the millennium? That’s kind of my whole f**king career.”’

Pitt laughed and Clooney continued: ‘So now I’m like, all right, dude, f**k off. I don’t mind giving him s**t. He gave me s**t.’

The former ER star then expressed his gratitude towards directors as he said: ‘But no, look, we’re really lucky we got to work with these great directors.

‘Director and screenplay is what keeps you alive. And I learned that after doing some really bad films.

‘You can’t make a good film out of a bad script. You can’t do it. You can make a bad film out of a good script. You can f**k it up.’

The actors also reflected on their enduring friendship with Clooney commenting: ‘We’ve been friends for a long time.

‘And it’s fun because we also check in on each other every once in a while, which is an important part of this. Things get complicated in life and you always have to make sure everybody’s OK.’

Pitt added: ‘ George is probably the best at understanding, seeing the chessboard and the potential moves. I’ll call George on numerous occasions when things get bumpy.’

Pitt and Clooney are set to star in the new Apple TV film Wolfs which is set to hit cinemas on September 20.

The synopsis for the film reads: ‘Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy “Wolfs.” Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high-profile crime.

‘But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiralling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected.’

Wolfs is set to be released on Apple TV on September 27.
