has reportedly been arrested and charged for marijuana possession.
It has been claimed the 28-year-old was arrested after she flew to the Cayman Islands from , landing on July 10.
claims she touched down in a private jet at Owen Roberts International Airport and a small amount of weed and smoking utensils were found in her bags.
The publication notes the weed was for personal use only, but the model and her companion were arrested on charges of ‘importation of of marijuana and importation of utensils to smoke the cannabis.’
claims Gigi was released on bail pending prosecution, and pled guilty when appearing in Summary Court on July 12.
It’s reported she was fined $1,000 and there’s no conviction on her record.
Gigi’s representative told the outlet: ‘Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license.
‘It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.’
