The 2025 ticket bloodbath has officially ended for today as coach went on sale at 6pm, and were sold out by 6.32pm.
25 minutes into the purchasing process, See Tickets announced: ‘Wednesday coach tickets for @Glastonbury 2025 are now sold out, limited departures are still available for Thursday departures.’
Then came the X post to kill all hope – that all coach tickets were all sound out for 2025, with general admission up for grabs at 9am on Sunday, November 17.
The official Glastonbury X account wrote: ‘The Glastonbury 2025 tickets + coach travel which were on sale this evening have now all been sold. Our thanks to everyone who bought one. Standard tickets are on sale at 9am GMT on Sunday morning – and @nationalexpress will offer coach travel to standard ticket holders from across the UK.’
Earlier this month long-time Glastonbury revelers were , which means hopefuls this year can’t rely on hard refreshing their browser until they land on that elusive ticketing page.
This year, there is a – shudder – queue system, and it’s already wreaking havoc on the first drop of tickets, and the estimated millions of punters trying to get their hands on them.
6pm arrived and the queue began, with many sweaty hands taking to with their prayers for the evening.
‘Good luck to everyone trying to get Glastonbury tickets today. may your evening be filled with stress and disappointment. I’m already freaking out,’ wrote @shipperglu on X.
Meanwhile, @HarryHerbs2 wrote: ‘Good luck to everyone trying for Glastonbury tickets dear god let this be our year.’
But a few minutes in and fans were demanding answers from the festival, as they weren’t – unlike with Oasis – given their queue number, with many saying they are simply stuck two bars into the queue, not knowing how many lie before them.
‘Where are the queue numbers?!’ asked @craftybison, while @muinatabdul added with a screen shot: ‘My new enemy.’
‘New Glastonbury ticket system is awful,’ added @FPL_Marcello, while @A_L_P__ added: ‘bring back the refresh!’
‘Are we all just stuck on two green bars?’; asked @HollieFitzxo while @TheLakesTony said: ‘Sort of missing the aggressive f5’ing to be honest
@glastonbury. This @seetickets queue is moving slower than my rural post office on a Monday morning.’
will take place at Worthy Farm on June 25 to 29 next year, and it’s set to be a particularly in-demand year as a fallow year – where there is no Glastonbury, cry – has been announced for 2026.
However, fans got a slap in the face this year when they saw the ticket price, with a spot on the farm now setting festival-goers back £378.50 when just a few years ago they were comfortably under £300. The first one in 1970 costed £1 – those were the days…
But cost doesn’t stop Glastonbury being the most in-demand festival in the country, with an from Olivia Rodrigo, to Sam Fender, Greenday and others.
However, Glastonbury’s line-up raised a few eyebrows last year as not being quite as swoon-worthy as some other UK festivals – , who bagged none other than Stevie Nicks, Kylie and Robbie Williams.
Uniquely, Glastonbury doesn’t reveal its lineup until after the tickets have all been allocated, resting on its historic reputation as the best. We should have one act just about before New Year. But really, there seems to be no pattern to when acts are announced.
Bookies have predicted other acts to take to the Pyramid Stage next year could also be Harry Styles, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter, The Rolling Stones, Madonna – – Billy Joel, and Fred Again. However, at this stage, it could be anyone.
