Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner receives full pay for series after dropping out to care for boyfriend

Ellie Warner has reportedly been paid her full fee after .

The 31-year-old star hasn’t been seen on screen following her partner Nat’s horror accident last month, and it’s said are supporting her during such a difficult time.

According to reports, Ellie has been told to take all the time she needs, while producers have also said she can keep the monthly £1,500 payment – which is given per household – while she’s away from the show.

A source said Gogglebox bosses didn’t want Ellie or her sister Izzi ‘worrying about anything’.

‘Of course they’ve honoured the payments – they take duty of care very seriously on the show,’ the insider told The Sun.

Nat was in Leeds on March 18, while walking home.

He was placed in intensive care, and a family member revealing that he had suffered a broken neck and back in the incident, as well as two collapsed lungs.

Although he was initially placed on a life support machine, he is now in a ‘critical but stable’ condition.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson confirmed in a statement: ‘The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.’

Ellie has been , offering her opinion on TV with Izzi from their sofas.

Earlier this month, it was said the show has extended her break from the series, and she has been supported by bosses, who have reportedly backed her wholeheartedly.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Channel 4 take duty of care really seriously. Obviously Ellie and Izzi are two of the most loved regulars on the show but it wouldn’t be right for them to have to film a light hearted show when Nat is in such a critical condition.

‘Producers have made it clear there is no pressure to return to filming and they can take all the time they need.’
