Guns N’ Roses fans ‘gutted’ as Sir Paul McCartney is a no-show for Live And Let Die at Glastonbury despite band’s tease

fans were left ‘gutted’ when a certain individual didn’t make an appearance during headline set.

Axl Rose told crowds they were ‘helping a certain individual celebrate’ as they launched into Live And Let Die.

‘We’re helping a certain individual celebrate the 50th anniversary of this song,’ he said.

The song was written by Sir and released by Wings in 1973 as part of the soundtrack for the film of the same name.

Sir Paul has been pictured multiple times at the festival, with his wife and daughter, Stella and Mary McCartney.

So, it’s not unreasonable for fans to expect a cameo from him at some point.

In fact, he even made it out who welcomed Johnny Marr also, giving the crowd a wave.

Alas, it wasn’t meant to be, despite the tease.
