He layered a white T-shirt underneath the coat and protected his feet from the elements in some black Vans.Â
The star wore a pair of black sunglasses and tied his signature curly locks up into a tight bun on the top of his head for his bike ride.
James opted for more colour in a purple and yellow knit jumper that was adorned with an orange tiger design on the front of it.
He added some dark blue jeans to his outfit and also sported some sunglasses and white trainers for the day out.

Reports claimed James had already been approached to reprise his role in the upcoming movie version.
A source told : ‘James and Ruth on screen again is the reunion everyone wants, albeit not Gavin and Stacey.
‘The cast were all approached about filming a movie version –– an early script has been written, and is ready to go.
‘If it gets the green light, James will reprise his role as Jamie Rymer, while Ruth will play Kelly Chadwick again.
‘The film would also be a huge tribute to Kay who helped change so many of the cast’s lives.
‘They all would love to do something to thank her for her brilliance. It’s still early days but a very exciting project.’
