was back at last on on Wednesday after a lengthy wait for a negative Covid test.
Holly was elated as she introduced the latest instalment alongside .
After two weeks away due to Covid, she told Phillip: ‘It’s so nice to be back I feel like I’ve been gone forever.
‘I’ve watched loads of you! I feel like you’ve been in my house the whole time!’
Of what her time with the virus was like, she explained: ‘I had sort of 48 hours of feeling rubbish, head on the pillow, headache, afterwards felt like I just had a cold.
‘I’m fine now, but just waiting for that line to go – every morning – it was like the worst advent calendar in the world.
Phillip weighed in: ‘Now the present box has finally been opened. It’s so nice to see you!’
Later on in the programme, the pair reflected on two years since the first national lockdown.
This saw them separated with the two-metre distance whilst presenting until just weeks ago.
The hosting duo celebrated being closer again with a sweet hug, with Holly admitting: ‘I think if you’d said it would be two years, I don’t think I would’ve believed you.’
Fans were delighted to see Holly back after so long away from their TV sets.
