Jack Nicholson has been as he enjoyed the festive period with his family.
The Shining actor has , in order to ‘live the life he wants’ and enjoy his peace.
Fans were sent into a spin when the 87-year-old’s daughter, Nicholson – who he shares with Rebecca Broussard – shared a glimpse into their and celebrations on , with a rare new image of the Hollywood legend.
In the sweet snap, she could be seen cuddling her dad, who was dressed in a striped shirt for the occasion.
She captioned the carousel, ‘the giving season’, with brother Ray Nicholson also popping up .
Unsurprisingly, followers went wild for the new pictures, sharing their delight at seeing in the comments below.

Jack was last seen in public in April, 2023, when he made a rare outing to watch a Lakers game, having been a huge supporter of the team for years.
He sat courtside for the game and even took an opportunity to catch up with LeBron James, with the pair spotted hugging at one point.
The acting icon first made his screen debut in the 1950s, and landed some huge roles in that time, including stints in the Departed, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, As Good As It Gets, Batman, Something’s Gotta Give, A Few Good Men, Hoffa and so many more.
His last movie appearance came in How Do You Know in 2010, alongside Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd.
Over the course of his incredible career, he has won three acting Oscars – two best actor trophies for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and As Good As It Gets, and a supporting actor gong for Terms of Endearment
Despite commanding the screen for decades, Jack turned his back on Hollywood and is actually just happy ‘being quiet’.
During an appearance on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast, record producer Lou Adler shed light on how the reclusive actor is doing last year, confirming that he is very content with life.
‘A friend of mine wanted to put him in a movie,’ the host said. ‘And he had a conversation with him.
‘But Jack says, “I don’t want to do it.” He goes, “You know what I did today? I sat under a tree and I read a book.”’
‘That sounds like Jack,’ Lou laughed. ‘Jack is doing whatever he really wants to do.
‘He wants to be quiet. He wants to eat what he wants.
‘He wants to live the life he wants.’
