executive says Raw and SmackDown superstars earn at least $250,000 per year.

The former world champion – whose real name is Paul Levesque – has weighed in on potential earnings for the company’s main roster performers while discussing its tryouts targeted at current and recent college athletes.

He explained the big names on weekly television can pull in a minimum of $250,000 annually.

However, it’s noted this figure can rise to over a million dollars each year for those at the top of the card.

Meanwhile, Triple H also detailed the importance of the company recruiting college athletes, which gives a big opportunity to the talent themselves, and the company as a whole.

‘You change the direction of their intensity and their focus, that becomes this massive ocean of talent for us, not a tiny pond. In the beginning, it was a puddle. Now it opens up massively, and we’re getting there,’ he told The Athletic.

‘You look at all the kids in college football that didn’t get to the NFL, what’s the difference between the ones that made it and the ones that didn’t? Not much.

‘You go past that, you look at a hammer thrower. After college, what are the job opportunities for a hammer thrower? Or a woman that is an amazing track star? Coaching?’

Triple H’s appearances during the WrestleMania festivities came after he months after he was left fighting for his life following a battle with viral pneumonia and heart failure, which has left him with a defibrillator in his chest.

In Dallas, The Game held a backstage meeting with talent to discuss his health and other issues, with Kevin Owens explaining how Triple H urged stars to live in the moment during an emotional address.

He exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘Triple H, we hadn’t seen him in so long. Yesterday, we had a talent meeting. He came back after not seeing everybody for a long time and he spoke about everything that he’s been through.

‘The message he had was, “Take the time to enjoy this.” Man, that really resonated, but I’d already tried to frame myself that way for the last little while. It really changes everything, once you change your perspective on things.’
