Plus has been hugely popular since it launched in 2020, treating subscribers to exclusive shows like and , and , , and .

It is also home to new animated blockbusters and as well as the live-action remakes of , , , and more.

Not only does the service offer family-friendly content, but its more adult-themed hub Star launched earlier in 2021, offering viewers some classic films from the Disney stable as well as box sets of TV series including , , , , and .

But just how much will all that Disney magic set you back, and will would-be subscribers be able to try it for free?

How much is the Disney Plus monthly subscription in the UK?

Disney Plus costs £7.99 a month.

Subscribers can and one account can support up to seven profiles – while you can stream content concurrently on four devices at once.

The subscription works on a monthly basis – so you can also cancel at any time.

Annual subscribers will pay £79.90 for the service, saving over 15%.

Does Disney Plus have a free trial period?

Unfortunately Disney Plus no longer offers a free trial to new subscribers.

However, an annual subscription does work out cheaper than paying monthly – so that’s something to consider if you plan to sign up.

Some mobile phone providers, such as , also offer you money off your bill with them if you take out a monthly subscription – you can find out more at their website.

How do you sign up to Disney Plus?

You can sign up through the or app.

Disney Plus is compatible on major tablets, smartphones, Smart TVs, Apple TVs, PS5s, Amazon Fire TVs, Xbox Series Xs and more.

How do you cancel Disney Plus?

You can and it’s easy to do so if you decide you no longer want it.

To do so, you will need to log in to your account via your phone or computer, head to the ‘account’ section of your profile, and choose the ‘subscription’ option.

This will give you details of which subscription you have, and all you need to do is select the ‘cancel subscription’ option.

You’ll be prompted to give a reason for cancelling before you can complete this.

Once you’ve cancelled, you’ll still be able to access Disney Plus up to the end of your billing cycle.

If you have a Disney account to access other products and services from the company, you’ll still be able to use this even after you cancel Disney Plus.

How can I get the Disney Plus Day offer?

Disney’s annual celebration returns this month with perks for subscribers and those new to the streaming service, including the option to get a whole month of the service for just £1.99.

The special introductory offer is valid from today until Monday, September 19, for new and returning subscribers and can be used via the .

After your first month has expired, the subscription price will rise to £7.99.
