Charlene, 42, is an openly emotional person, recently admitting that she won’t be able to hold back her tears in the jungle.
One of the reasons why tears might be shed is due to her feeling homesick, so let’s take a look at her family life, her relationship, and kids…
Is Charlene White married?
Charlene is in a relationship with partner Andy, but they are not married.
According to The Telegraph, Andy is a TV producer, and the couple live together in South London.
Charlene and Andy have been together for five years after first meeting at a mutual friend’s party in 2015.
The ITV star previously wrote for the Guardian that ‘the moment’ they met, she knew he was ‘the one.’
Speaking about how it will feel leaving her loved ones behind while in Australia for I’m A Celebrity, Charlene also said: ‘My partner is also mostly shocked I am doing this. We made the decision together but he was like, “I have no idea how you are going to cope!”.’
‘I am not a need to wear make-up, nails kind of girl, but I am not very outdoorsy,’ she added.
‘In fact, I know the fact I am volunteering to choose to sleep outside will come as a massive shock to everyone at work, too!’
Do they have children?
Charlene and Andy share two children – Alfie and Florence.
First child Alfie was born in 2017, before Florence arrived in October 2019.
The presenter has previously shared heartwarming posts dedicated to her young children on Instagram, documenting special moments.
When lockdown hit, Charlene had not been a mum of two for very long.
Posting a sweet snap of her kids by her side, she wrote: ‘Watching these two getting to know each other has been the good stuff.’
Speaking ahead of her trip Down Under for I’m A Celeb, Charlene revealed just how much she’s going to miss her kids.
‘I am going to miss our daily routine with the kids, I am going to miss waking up with them and having quiet time before the school run and that’s what is going to get me tearing up. It will be weird,’ she said.
