Is Anton Du Beke married?
Anton has been married to Hannah Summers since 2017 after six years of dating.
Hannah is a marketing professional who worked within communications and technology as the Chief Marketing Officer of a mobile network security company.
The couple first sparked rumours they’d got married after Hannah wore an engagement ring and wedding band during the first day of Chelsea Flower Show in May of the same year.
Though keeping their relationship quite private, Anton opened up about first meeting Hannah on the Channel 4 show Steph’s Packed Lunch in 2021.
He said: ‘She was sat across a big table at a do and I thought, wow she is absolutely outrageous… She went off to the loo as one does. Outrageously, I followed her! She went into the ladies and I waited outside for her. I’m staggered she actually spoke to me.’
He added: ‘She came out she looked at me and went “have you been waiting outside the ladies for me?” and I went “Yes, It’s because I love you.”’
Do they have children?
The pair share twins, George and Henrietta.
The couple welcomed the twins in March of 2017.
Who are Anton Du Beke’s parents?
Born to a mother [Ascension]and Hungarian father [Antal] Anton lived on a council estate in Sevenoaks, and discovered his flair for dancing after picking his sister up from the local studio.
Although his mother encouraged his new hobby, his father, Antal, ‘took a turn’ against Anton as alcoholism gripped him.
Appearing on Kate Garraway’s Life Stories, Anton said: ‘The alcoholism and the violence…[it was] towards me, because I was a boy, a young man I suppose.
‘You’ve got an alcoholic father and a situation where if you’re in the house (he’s) drinking then you end up with the fights and stuff.
‘You’d move room to get away from all of it and then he follows you in and the next thing you know the violence starts and then it came to a head one evening, I ended up in hospital for three days.
‘I got stabbed, I’ve never said this out loud before,’ he said struggling to hold back his tears on the ITV show.
Anton said he was sure his family and friends did not know about the attack because he never saw any gain from speaking about his ordeal, telling Kate: ‘I’m a forward looker…I don’t like to look back, I like to look forward.’
Kate Garraway’s Life Stories airs on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
