ITV has responded to claims of star‘s ‘diva’ behaviour on the set of The Games.
Olivia is best-known for her iconic stint on Love Island, making the final alongside in 2017.
The reality star has been a regular fixture on screens ever since, going on to feature in The Only Way Is Essex and – and will soon take part in new series The Games.
However, despite her being a popular personality with viewers at home, she has is said to have left those on the set of her new show annoyed after ‘acting like a real princess’ backstage, although an ITV source has denied the claims.
A production source reportedly shared: ‘Olivia’s diva antics have made her unpopular with the people making The Games. She has been acting like a real princess and her behaviour has left a lot of people baffled as to why she signed up to a challenge show – where she knew she’d be having to try out a number of sports.
‘Olivia’s number one demand was by far the most ridiculous however, as she has insisted she has full hair and make-up for every single sport. She has made sure her glam squad were booked from day dot.’
The source went on to claim to that Olivia is having a hair and make-up team with her ‘during the filming’ of the live show in London.
‘Yesterday she tried out the make up and hair team that everyone else is using and it went down well – but she is still insisting on using her own glam squad,’ they added.
However, a separate ITV source told the publication: ‘Liv is a great contestant and member of the team. There are no divas, the contestants are all getting on really well, which will be apparent on screen.’
It comes after the former Love Island star showed off the strain the show is having on her body in a topless Instagram snap.
In view of her 1.9 million followers on the social media site, she shared a snap of her back fixed-up with tape.
She captioned the update: ‘Not exactly ideal.’
The series sees the celeb contestants take on a number of different sports during live shows next week – battling it out to reach the top of the medals table.
Freddie Flintoff and Holly Willoughby will be presenting The Games alongside Alex Scott who will also join as a pitch-side reporter,.
Mel B’s daughter Phoenix Brown, song writer Chelcee Grimes and Harry Potter actor Josh Herdman are among the other celebs who’ve signed up for the challenge.
Elsewhere, viewers will see, Newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, Emmerdale actor Rebecca Sarker and actor Ryan Thomas compete to win the new competitive series.
Wes Nelson, Max George and Corrie star Colson Smith complete the line-up of the programme, which begins next week – airing over consecutive nights on the broadcaster.
