Jake Quickenden has tied the knot with fiancée Sophie Church after the X Factor star jetted off to Ibiza with family and friends for a gorgeous ceremony.
Jake, 34, confirmed he and Sophie exchanged their nuptials today at the popular Spanish party destination.
Chris Hughes, who was one of the guests at the intimate wedding, seemed to be part of the groom’s party as he helped him prep for his big day and shared the news with fans.
The favourite shared a video of close friend Jake who looked sharp as he donned a gorgeous light brown suit moments before the ceremony.
In the short Instagram clip, the groom-to-be could be heard saying: ‘I just need a few more minutes in the air con,’ as he prepared to walk out to his bride.
The video also showed off a poignant tribute from Jake to his father Paul and brother Oliver, who heartbreakingly died in 2008 and 2012 respectively.
The Dancing On Ice winner wore a pin with three pendants attached to it, all tributes to his beloved late family members.
One was a solo snap of Oliver, who died aged 19 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, while the picture on the right was Jake with his dad Paul, who died after battling a case of non-familial bone cancer.
The pendant in the middle read: ‘Dad & Oliver, I know you would be here today, if you weren’t in heaven so far away,’ which was read out by Chris for followers to hear.
Earlier on in the day, Chris shared a cheeky snap next to Jake appearing relaxed before the big day, as they stripped down to their underwear in their hotel room.
Jake confirmed after he popped the question on a break abroad.
Alongside the idyllic couple shot, he wrote: ‘SHE SAID YES…. The love of my life the mother to my beautiful Leo and Freddie, I love you so much…
‘This isn’t a drill it’s actually happening.’
Jake and Sophie have been together for more than four years, and are first thought to have started dating in June 2018.
The couple welcomed their first child, Leo, together in February last year, with the therapist also mum to son Freddie from a previous relationship.
