son and has reportedly secured his very own cooking show at just 12-years-old.
Back in 1999 Jamie was 24 when he starred in the first season of The n**ed.n**ed Chef and has since .
But now is said to also be starring in a new series, with Buddy Oliver said to have been cast in a show.
The celebrity chef’s eldest son is set to soon teach other kids how to recreate delicious recipes after the success of his series Cooking Buddies.
‘Buddy has taken all of his dad’s experience on board and is about to put it into play with his own cookery show,’ a source has said.
‘He’s already had great success with content on YouTube and Instagram.
‘Jamie’s fans have long been asking for his son to have his own show for their kids to enjoy,’ they added when speaking to The Sun, as reported by the .
Buddy – who has 133,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel – will be joined by other kids as he teaches them how to rustle up the dishes.
The source added: ‘The series will see Buddy joined in the kitchen by other children as he teaches recipes and gives helpful tips to youngsters on how to get started with cooking.’
It’s said the pre-teen will be flying solo for the project rather than relying on his famous father.
‘Buddy is the star of the show. Jamie is keen for his son to prove himself to telly audiences, not just live off the family name,’ the source continued.
‘So Buddy’s got to showcase his technical skills and presenting ability.
‘But if his YouTube work is anything to go by, it’ll be natural for him.’
Earlier this year Jamie spoke about his son’s cooking abilities and said he did not want Buddy to be a ‘nepo baby’ and wanted him to ‘earn his trade’ if he became a chef.
He said while Buddy still had plenty of time to choose his career, his talents have been building over the years and he impressively filleted a mackerel when he was just 10.
‘It’s not because he’s a special kid, it’s because kids are brilliant and when they repeat things a few times, they get good at it – whether it’s cricket, boxing or gymnastics, and he happened to have a mackerel in his hand, which is a cheap fish that’s bloody good for you, and he cooked it for his brother River, crispy skins 90 per cent of the way, and you can’t produce that content,’ he told the Daily Mail.
Jamie, 47, shares Poppy, 21, Daisy, 20, Petal, 14, Buddy, 12, and River, six, with wife Jools, 48.
