Sharing a series of photos of Bobby during different points of his career to date – modelling, joining EastEnders, on the cover of Grazia and then on Strictly – Jeff said he wanted his son to ‘soak up every last drop’ of the experience.
‘One last push @bobbybrazier! I know you want this experience to carry on forever but nothing you love ever ends, it just becomes the platform from which you take the next step to add to the wonderful memories you’ve already made for yourself,’ he wrote.
‘For what it’s worth most of us could only dream of doing some of the things you’ve already packed in to the 4 years since you left school! Proud is not the word!
‘I hope you soak up every last drop of your experience of the final tomorrow night especially knowing how far you’ve come to earn the right to be there.’
Bobby’s professional partner Dianne Buswell, 34, also posted a sweet video she’d been sent by her dad, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Sitting in the garden of his home in Australia, Mark Buswell began by congratulating the pair for making it to the end of the competition, saying they’d done ‘extremely well’ in all of their past performances.
He went on to tell his daughter that he was very proud of the way she had taught Bobby ‘in such a short time, week in and week out’.

Last night fellow finalist Ellie, 22, was left in tears after being played a video from her cousin whilst appearing on It Takes Two.
During the Strictly spin-off, she was surprised with a video montage from her family, where they shared their support for her ahead of the final.
In the clip, Ellie’s cousin, Brooke Vincent, who appeared on Coronation Street from 2004 until 2019, said: ‘Ellie is like the loveliest person. Every week when we sit down and watch her, it’s like you see a new part of her come out. She’s grown as a woman, she’s grown in confidence, she’s just glowing!
After being advised to ‘go out there and have the best time’, Ellie was seen wiping away tears.
