American TV personality and designer Whitney Port, who rose to fame on The Hills and The City, has slammed the singer for calling photographers on herself.
The former reality star, 39, and her husband, Tim Rosenman, claim they say the On The Floor hitmaker ‘set up’ a shoot in the Hamptons.
Speaking on the, Whitney began in the latest episode: ‘Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton is so special that I’m pretty sure J Lo the other day was riding her bike to get a scoop of ice cream for a paparazzi shot.’
‘Don’t you think that’s what she was doing?’, she asked her other half.
‘A tra-billion percent,’ Tim replied emphatically.
The 42-year-old added that Jennifer ‘did not even go in’ to the eatery but was just ‘there for the exterior shot’.
He then questioned if Jennifer’s behaviour was ‘weird’ and accused the Hustlers actress, 55, of being desperate for attention.
‘She’s already as famous as you can be. Why does she need to stoke the flames of her own fame? Seems unnecessary,’ Whitney agreed.
‘I feel like that’s her vibe. She’s papped everywhere. And she’s always looking hot. And I think her continually looking hot in cute settings is what keeps the machine going.’
Tim replied by saying that he doesn’t see the ‘need to see the machine going’, to which Whitney said: ‘Some people are addicted to it.’
The couple then agreed that they would retire if they had as much money as Jennifer, whose net worth is said to be a staggering $400million (£314.18m).
Adamant that they would have no desire to pursue additional status, they claimed Jennifer is ‘addicted’ to fame.
The married couple’s allegations follow extensive reporting on J Lo’s own .
Rumours have swirled for a while that and heading for divorce, having tied the knot two years ago.
Most recently, it was claimed that after putting theshe shared with Ben up for sale.
Speaking highly of their pal, Jennifer’s friends insisted that she always ‘has [a] good attitude even when things are not perfect’.
A source told People: ‘Considering everything that’s going on, Jennifer is having a good summer. She’s been off and able to focus on what’s next.
‘Jennifer is trying to find a new home to start fresh. She always has [a] good attitude even when things are not perfect.’
The Love Don’t Cost A Thing songstress has been house hunting in Los Angeles and recently toured a home in Beverly Hills that is ‘truly exceptional.’
An insider said: ‘It’s an ideal setting for those seeking seclusion.’
She also toured another home in May and has been looking at properties that are not officially on the market.
This comes after Jennifer’s husband Ben recently splashed out $20million £15.7m) on a new home in the affluent area of Pacific Palisades.
TMZ reported that Ben’s property features five bedrooms and six bathrooms as well as a media room and guest house.
The new house is much smaller than the mansion in Beverly Hills he bought with Jennifer last year which boasted 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage, room for parking 80 cars, a 5,000 square-foot guest penthouse, caretaker house and a two-bedroom guard house as well as a pool and an indoor sports complex.
The couple put the house on the market last month for $68million (£53.386m), just over a year after they bought it back in May 2023.
Just weeks ago, Jennifer celebrated her 55th birthday in the Hamptons with a lavish Bridgerton-themed fancy dress party.
Ben is not believed to have attended, or her birthday meal.
On her birthday, Jennifer shared an emotional message with fans, thanking them for all their well wishes.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: ‘I’ve been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos, and posts all last night and this morning from all over the world. I have laughed, smiled, shed some tears, and when I saw the billboard in Times Square, I was completely overwhelmed.
‘I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world. I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life. Thank you sooooo very much.’
