’s daughter Emily tied the knot with her fiancé Alex Andrew this weekend, announcing the news on social media on Sunday.

The 27-year-old walked down the aisle with 29-year-old publicist Alex this weekend at a traditional church ceremony, just over two years after .

, Emily shared a few snaps from their big day with the simple caption: ‘MARRIED!!!’

Emily is a child of former Top Gear star Jeremy and his ex-wife Frances Cain, alongside siblings Finlo and Katya. The couple divorced in 2014.

The photographs of her big day revealed her dress to be a vintage-inspired beaded white gown with a halter neck, which she paired with a long veil, wearing her hair back in a smooth ponytail.

One snap showed the couple beaming as they left the church hand-in-hand as husband and wife.

Alex opted for the classic choice of a morning suit, white shirt and a pale pink tie.

Other photos saw the pair with their hands in the air, holding a bouquet and a glass of champagne as they walked towards a vintage car and also enjoying an embrace and kiss.

Alex shared one of the photos too, writing: ‘LOVE OF MY LIFE ?❤️?❤️’

Plenty of Emily’s friends rushed to congratulate the couple on their special day under Emily’s post, with influencer Fleur De Force gushing: ‘Wow wow wow, you look like a goddess! Your dress ??? congratulations to you both xx’

‘Congrats babe!!!! ????,’ posted another.

Upon the announcement of their engagement, Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy shared a photograph of the couple posing with Emily wearing her engagement ring just moments after the proposal.

‘Very very happy father,’ he wrote alongside it in a sweet message of support.

He has yet to publicly comment on his daughter’s wedding, but Jeremy’s was confirmed earlier this week.

After struggling to film during the pandemic due to travel restrictions, Jeremy, Richard Hammond and James May confirmed earlier this year that they were back to filming across the globe, as they hit up Europe .

Now, the longer-term future seems confirmed too.

Speaking at Thursday’s Amazon Prime Presents event, Amazon Studios boss Georgia Brown said: ‘The second thing that hasn’t changed at all since [we launched] in 2018,  is we’re still sending three old blokes around the world playing with cars and our customers just love it.

‘So we will keep doing it, as long as there is a demand for it!’
