John Stamos has been remembering drummer Taylor Hawkins after the musician’s sudden and shocking death.
Hawkins, who was 50,  on Friday night in Colombia during the band’s latest tour.
Full House star and fellow drummer Stamos, 58, was a close friend of Hawkins and has been left devastated by his death, as has the band – who have – and their legions of fans.
On Wednesday, Stamos took to Instagram to share a video message Hawkins had sent to him not long before his death, with the musician poking fun at the actors’ drumming capabilities.
‘Stamos is a good buddy of mine, he’s a good guy, I really like him a lot,’ Hawkins says in the video.
‘He’s a great drummer, a great dude, all that stuff.
‘But I’m a little upset with him… I was supposed to do that Geico commercial where he flips the stick,’ Hawkins joked, referring to an advert John appeared in where he knits a scarf with a drumstick.
‘That was mine! Originally that was mine! But they decided to go with Stamos cos he’s better looking. But I’m the best stick flipper around, sorry Stamos.’
Sharing the video to his 3.8 million followers, Stamos wrote: ‘Yes, Taylor you are the best stick flipper and I miss you pal,’ adding the hashtag: ‘#gonewaytoof***ingsoon’.
In the hours after Hawkins’ death sent shockwaves across the music world, John had taken to Twitter to share the eery final text he had received from the renowned drummer.
It read: ‘Ya We’ve yet to fully have a hang -Got a put that sh** together before we die.’
Writing at the time, Stamos added: ‘Wise words from my friend- put that sh** together! I’m so f***ing sad. Another one gone too soon.’
