Jordan Sangha has won 2023 – and his response is so on-brand.
The 26-year-old qualified lawyer from Scunthorpein the first series last night following six weeks of drama, romance, shocking evictions, and so much more.
Jordan’s victory was a landslide, as he secured – it’s clear why he’s been dubbed the People’s Princess.
Meanwhile, dancer Olivia, 23, finished as runner-up, while food writer Henry, 25, placed third.
Fan favourite Yinrun, 25, came fourth while former Miss GB Noky, 26, came fifth.
After and, most likely, waking up a bit hazy this morning, Jordan returned to social media to thank BB fans for their support in the most Jordan way possible.
Ahead of the revival series, all housemates set their online accounts to private to minimise the risk of trolling but, once they left the iconic house, they were all keen to post pics together and keep viewers updated on their antics.
As his follower count continues to soar, Jordan took to Instagram to share his Big Brother promo photo, in which he stands with his arms folded and a cheeky smile on his face, of course sporting a loud, printed shirt.
His caption read: ‘And that’s a wrap! Thank you to all who watched and voted ⭐️ (Never again)’
King of sarcasm and dry humour, or what?
In the comments, though, his thousands of followers were full of praise for their winner.
‘Literally our king’, one commenter declared.
Another penned: ‘we’re all so proud of you!! most deserving winner!!’
‘Plz run off in to the sunset with Henry!’, one joked.
Of course, Jordan and Henry’s relationship was arguably the main storyline this series, as fans watched them grow closer before they started sharing kisses in the final week.
It’s safe to say doctor Matty, 24, is now after a brief ‘love triangle’ early on, as Jordan and Henry have made it clear they want to figure things out between them.
Speaking in his exit interview, Henry revealed he and Jordan are already planning holidays to both Florence and New York City together.
Jordan, of course, had some jokes to make about how he had for weeks.
He explained: ‘I need to read up on platonic love… I need to research more into that.’
Asked where their relationship might go next, Jordan replied: ‘Henry and I made a promise that whoever wins, we would go to a five-star hotel or somewhere decent… with a twin room. We won’t be sleeping in the beds!’
Also on his win, Jordan – who applied for Big Brother ‘on a whim’ – expressed his shock after Will Best announced his name as the victor.
Jordan said that he felt ‘honoured’ to win the show. However, he never imagined walking away with the money.
He said: ‘The money will be nice, won’t it… did I think I could win it? No.’
In an interview with ITV for the Big Brother social channels, Jordan added that he was ‘delighted’ with the win, having ‘always loved’ Big Brother.
‘What I’ve learned from this experience is that I’m not as stringent with myself, as much as I have been in the past, you know, with a legal background, legal education.
‘Instead, I can just think, F it and go for it, and it’s jolly good fun doing that and I don’t feel any shame for having done that.’
