It turns out heart actually did, er, Miss A Beat at one of their gigs.
The rock band were performing at Halifax’s Piece Hall when one fan had a ‘heart attack’ in the crowd.
As if things couldn’t get any weirder, band member Simon Rix explained that the very same man who suffered a cardiac arrest was spotted later that night in the pub.
Not only that, but the indie fan was even apparently seen being kicked out of said pub for being too drunk.
How very rock ‘n’ roll…
Chatting to , Simon explained: ‘You could tell in the last song that someone was having a hard time.
‘We went off and waited to do the encore. We were told to wait as someone had had a heart attack in the crowd.
‘They got them out and they were doing the whole tent thing then he was ok, they brought him back to life, we got told he was ok.’
The band – comprised of backing vocalist and bassist Simon, , and guitarist Andrew White – did another song as they were told it was all okay, before going home ahead of their gig back at Piece Hall the next day.
Simon asked how the guy was the night after, and their crew said they’d seen him ‘at midnight getting kicked out a pub for being too drunk.’
‘Someone died, then was alive, brought back to life just to get drunk,’ Simon added to the publication.
Now that is a pretty dedicated fan if we ever saw one…
This bizarre tale comes after , after a number of stars have had objects hurled at them on stage.
after a concert-goer threw a phone at her, while Ava Max was slapped by a stage invader, and Pink received a very awkward on-stage gift of someone’s ashes.
So we thought we’d heard it all, but apparently not…
