Karren Brady admits to secretly wearing tracksuit bottoms and trainers in The Apprentice boardroom

, who is Lord Sugar’s aide on , has revealed she actually often dresses down for the intense boardroom scenes.

The businesswoman returned to the BBC hit series alongside ’s replacement , to keep . 

However, despite the business hopefuls often having to splash out on formal workwear for the process, Karren revealed how she manages to wear comfier clothes without anyone knowing. 

When the contestants make their way to the boardroom after the tasks, sporting quite so smart attire underneath the desk. 

She said: ‘Sometimes I have tracksuit bottoms and trainers on, and a smart top.

‘I have actually had my slippers on in that boardroom and sometimes they show the camera and you can actually see my slippers in the reflection.’

According to The Sun’s TV Biz column, was apparently told ‘don’t wear slippers’ in the past – but hasn’t let it stop her from putting comfort over style. 

It comes after she previously revealed the first episode featured ‘probably the worst’ logo design she had ever seen. 

The boys’ team opted for a suspicious-looking green and brown logo, which didn’t escape comparisons to ‘a turd.’

She told BANG Showbiz and other media: ‘The first thing people will learn from the first episode is when designing for a billion-pound cruise ship don’t design a logo that looks like a turd.

‘I was sitting there watching them design it and they were actually really pleased with it.

‘Who is going to spend thousands on a cruise whose logo is shaped like a rotten banana or a very unfortunate shaped piece of dog poo?’

And how right she was.

The final of this year’s process looms, with Harpreet Kaur and Kathryn Burn set to battle it out one last time to win around Lord Sugar.
