has said a touching goodbye to her beloved cat Clive by getting a beautiful tattoo, three months after his death.
The British actress, 50, on in June, saying that her heart was ‘totally broken’ by her loss.
Clive became a hit with Kate’s followers during the pandemic as she shared numerous adorable pictures and videos of his feline antics.
At the time, a few days after Clive died, Kate said she didn’t have it in her to make a montage or of her late furry friend.
‘Every single part of my house feels like he should be in it. If anyone is expecting to hear from me, you may not for a bit and I’m sorry,’ she added to her statement.
Now, Kate has taken a trip to a nearby tattoo parlour to make sure Clive stays with her forever, getting a realistic image of his eyes inked onto her upper back.
Just below her right shoulder, the tattoo zooms right in on Clive’s eyes and captures their intensity and it’s gone down a hit with many of her fans.
‘How can a light that burned so brightly suddenly burn so pale?’ Kate asked her followers, before saying that she would love Clive always.
One comment said: ‘There’s no way Clive is anywhere, but with you. It’s quite clear you two are soulmates, whether it’s here or elsewhere in the universe.’
Another fan commented: ‘There is no deeper heartbreak. What a beautiful tattoo to commemorate Clive with. So much love and support as always.’
Even those who said they didn’t love tattoos themselves were complimentary: ‘The simplicity and the meaning of that one is quite overwhelming,’ wrote one.
And it’s , after getting a lovely pattern featuring his face on her forearm earlier this month.
At the time, she received messages of support from Michelle Visage and actress Kat Dennings, as well as from many of her 5.6million followers.
