The couple celebrated the arrival of their with the rest of their close-knit family, while revealing the newborn’s adorable name.
‘Shae Ferdinand ? 10.7.23 Our strong little girl ?,’ they wrote in their Instagram caption, after Kate gave birth almost a week ago.
They also shared a photo of the baby’s hands, with the hands of her siblings resting on top.
Kate, 32, and Rio, 44, have been married since 2019, with born a year later.
The former professional footballer was previously married to Rebecca Ellison, with whom he had three children: Lorenz, Tate and Tia.
Rebecca died in 2015 aged 34 after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Kate and Rio have received a rush of congratulations after announcing their news, with fans and friends swarming their Instagram post’s comment section with well-wishes.
‘Congratulations to you all. Well done mumma,’ wrote former The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Lewis.
‘Congratulations to you all,’ added Megan McKenna, while former Love Island star Montana Brown said: ‘Congrats gorgeous ❤️.’
Five days before welcoming Shae into the world, Kate posted a photo on Instagram of herself rocking an all-black ensemble and showcasing her baby bump as her son Cree gave her a hug besides his dad Rio.
‘Good morning ☀️ Don’t be fooled by the gym picture & clothes, I was there for selfie purposes only ???,’ she wrote in the caption at the time.
In June, Kate opened up about her pregnancy, revealing that her baby was in breech position in the womb.
Speaking on Loose Women, she said: ‘Can I tell the truth, I’m feeling a bit tired.
‘And the baby is breech, so she’s digging in the ribs and kicks on the bladder. But apart from that, I’m okay.’
