has shared exactly what happened when she broke her feet while on holiday in Turkey.
The star, 41, in a fall while holidaying with her children in 2020, and was left in a wheelchair for weeks on end.
Katie has previously opened up on ho on the other side – but the horse-mad mum has now revealed it happened while she was, well, pretending to be a horse.
Mum-of-five Katie said she was told she would ‘never walk again’ as doctors described her injuries as among the worst they’d ever seen.
Speaking to Kathy Burke on podcast , Katie described , and said she had ‘no idea’ how she survived the fall, and ‘neither do the doctors.’
Describing the mishap which saw her need a wheelchair for weeks on end, she recalled: ‘I was pretending to be a horse. I jumped over the bush, it was dark, I didn’t know there was a 20-foot drop into an underground car park.’
She said her feet were now full of scars and screws after shattering her bones in the 20-foot drop, which would be just over six metres.
It’s far from Kate’s only close call, as she reflected on some of her car crashes, having been in several, and admitted she had always believed she would die in a crash.
‘I always predicted I’d die in a car crash. I’ve always said that. And the amount of near-death experiences and car crashes I’ve had, I’ve always come out without a scratch on me,’ she said.
Referring to the incident where she rolled her BMW in the early hours of the morning after drinking alcohol and taking drugs, which she admitted to a police officer at the scene, she said: ‘When I rolled the car a couple of years ago, a naughty night I had, I don’t know how I wasn’t scratched.’
And a decade earlier, she had been in the car where her boyfriend crashed into two horses which had escaped and bolted into the road.
‘The airbags didn’t go off, nothing happened to me. I’ve had a lot of car accidents… I’m still here,’ she said.
Kathy joked Katie’s ‘bosoms’ might have saved her, with Katie agreeing ‘they’re good airbags.’
‘And they’re big ones at the minute, they’ve been done again,’ she said proudly after undergoing what is believed to be her 16th boob job earlier this year.
‘I go over the top, of course.’
The podcast sees celebrities discuss death and how they would like to be sent off in their final farewell, with Katie admitting elsewhere she wanted to be buried with an oxygen tank just in case she woke up.
She also revealed she hasn’t changed her will since she was married to ex-husband Peter Andre, saying that if she died, ‘everything goes to Pete, Princess, Junior and Harvey.’
Katie said she would need to change it, as she ‘can’t have anyone else having more stuff from me.’
