was the first to wish herself a happy birthday not long after the clock struck midnight.Â
The Mucky Mansion star is celebrating her 44th birthday this Sunday and was in good company, spending the first moments of her special day with fiance Carl Woods.
It’s been a busy weekend for Katie, as she attended a friend’s nuptials on Saturday before doing some celebrating of her own.
In her latest Instagram post, she’s seen cosying up to Carl, 33, at the wedding, with the car dealer looking smart in a grey blazer and white T-shirt, while Katie appeared to be wearing a black dress featuring a cut-out detail across the chest.
She captioned the post: ‘This is a picture from a wedding we attended this evening and just got home so first picture of me now aged 44 ? happy birthday to myself.’
It seems Katie is starting her new chapter with a fresh mindset after sharing an update on her mental health following a challenging year, which has included being arrested, various court cases, a brief split from Carl and entering rehab.
She wrote in her Instagram stories on Thursday: ‘I’m so proud of myself and how far I’ve come changing the ways I now deal with situations that I’ve now learnt are my trigger points that I wasn’t about to control before.
‘Thank you to my therapists, consultant and my support network around me.’
The former glamour model included a photo of two books; DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets and Recovery from Complex PTSD, and added: ‘Tomorrow finally is a chapter I’ve completed in moving forwards, I’ll let you know tomorrow what it is.’
Katie and Carl, who began dating in June 2020, appear to be back on track after reports of a break-up.
In March, sources claimed Katie and Carl had split after experiencing a ‘difficult couple of months’, including a spate of legal woes.
with a rant on social media, describing it as ‘all bull***t’.
In a video posted to Instagram Stories, Carl told his followers: ‘I’ve just seen the latest story so I just wanted to come on here and clear it up.
‘Engagement ring on, engagement ring off, it’s all bull****. It’s so muggy, the stories are muggy as well.’
