has shared a message from her eldest son, , in which he expresses his sadness about not being with her in the lead-up to Christmas.
The former glamour model, 46, welcomed her 22-year-old son, who suffers from blindness, Prader Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, with since-retired footballer in 2002.
Katie has been his full-time caregiver for the majority of Harvey’s life, but she announced in 2020 that she was struggling to cope and but to enrol him in a boarding facility where he receives special care.
Katie, , Junior, 19 and Princess, 17, with , as well as Jett, 11 and Bunny, 10, with her now ex-husband , often speaks about how difficult it is being away from her son, with her latest post proving it’s just as difficult for Harvey.
Taking to Instagram, the TV star shared a message from her son with her 2.7 million followers. Harvey said he misses his mum’s cuddles.
A screenshot of the conversation read: ‘Mummy I am miss you for a lot of cuddles, kisses on the lips and kisses on your full head in warm cosy bed because I am really need you a lot at Christmas. Please mummy to make Harvey happy this Christmas.’
In the chain of messages, Harvey sent another message showing him and Katie sharing a kiss. A note relayed over top of the image read ‘Merry Christmas’ and showed a love heart.
It’s unclear how Katie will be celebrating Christmas this year and unknown whether she will be spending the special day with all of her children.
It comes just months after the mother-and-son duo jetted off on a sunny holiday along with Katie’s boyfriend, star , 32.
to the undisclosed location, Harvey was seen loving life in the swimming pool, playing with Peppa Pig toys and snuggling up with his mum.
‘He makes me laugh’, Katie wrote alongside one a video of Harvey making the cuddly toys kiss.
Katie is understood to be the sole caregiver for Harvey after claiming in April this year that his dad has seen him .
‘I think he’s seen Harvey about nine times in his life,’ she claimed during an interview on the Anything Goes podcast with James English.
‘I’ve tried to send him pictures of Harvey on Instagram, Harvey playing the piano, he just ignores everything – doesn’t want to know. But the door’s always open. Always.’
When asked why she remained so open to him sparking a relationship with Harvey despite his lack of interest, she explained: ‘I don’t know, because I’m like that. I’m like… Really I should say f**k off you a******e, you don’t deserve him, you’ve not been part of it.
‘I don’t know. I just think… if he saw Harv and saw how amazing he is, for him to be like f***ing hell, I haven’t seen my…. it’s his biological son.
‘Any man can make a baby but it takes a real man to be a dad in my eyes, but it’s still his biological son, and I suppose, to prove him wrong.’
