Junior Andre is following in his dad’s footsteps by venturing into the world of music and now the budding star has given out his phone number to fans.
The 16-year-old – whose parents are and – is taking inspiration from the Mysterious Girl hitmaker and has been in the studio for a while working on tunes.
The teenager signed his first record deal with Columbia Records last summer, leaving .
He’s now teasing his followers with upcoming music and encouraging them to ‘slide into’ his WhatsApp messages.
The youngster share a cool snap from the recording booth to his Instagram, where he’s pointing at the camera and looking like he means business.
Junior wrote in his caption to his 504k followers: ‘Slide into my whatsapp on +44 7944 958042 I’ve got some stuff I’ve been working on I wanna send you ??’
His fans were mega excited in the comments, with younger sister Princess, 14, sweetly commenting: ‘Proud of you ❤️’
However, some were concerned that the musician will be inundated with messages after giving out his number, warning him: ‘Your phone’s gonna be blowing up.’
‘Be careful how you share your number @officialjunior_andre there are a lot of weridos about,’ another wrote.
Offering reassurance, though, one follower commented: ‘It’s not his actual number it’ll be a burner phone managed by his manager’s team.’
Junior has had the full support of his pop star dad throughout his music career so far, writing on Instagram earlier this year: ‘Son I’m so proud of you it’s unreal. Since we went to the studio that day you have not stopped.’
The 49-year-old added: ‘Every single day and night you graft for your craft. You are humble and kind and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the songs. Get ready everyone.
‘I’m right beside you the whole way. You are my first experience at management so I hope me and the team help get it right @officialjunior_andre @rebelrecs @columbiauk.’
Pete has also shared , telling Good Morning Britain in February that his emotions are ‘a mixture of I‘m proud and I’m excited and I see how hard he works and he practices every day just how I used to do when I was a kid, but there’s also a fear to it.’
‘There’s this fear of getting thrown into this lifestyle which, I know he’s part of in some kind of way but that’s also why I didn’t let him sign anything before 16 because he has to be at an age where he can go to a schedule, whereas before it was just he’d appear on something on the day he wasn’t at school.’
He added: ‘This is a way of life and it’s going to be a lot of work for him and he’s so excited. I’m proud but I’m also a little bit scared as I guess anyone would be.’
Junior is set to release music in May and previously referred to his record label signing as ‘a dream come true.’
