has opened up about wanting to have more children with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
The couple are parents to daughter Daisy, while the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is also dad to son Flynn, from his previous marriage to Miranda Kerr.
, the Dark Horse singer shed light on whether they will be expanding their family once more.
‘I’m a planner. So we’ll see…Hopefully in the future,’ the 37-year-old replied when asked if she wanted to add to their brood. ‘It was just such an interesting thing having a child during Covid because everything paused besides that.
‘I love the experience I’m having with my daughter now.’
Katy insisted that being a mom is the ‘best decision I ever made for my life’.
She also took the time to heap praise on Orlando, 45, as a take charge’ parent, as well as the support system they have surrounding them.
‘I have great support. I have a great sister. I have a wonderful nanny. And Orlando really taps in,’ she continued to People Magazine. ‘We do this funny thing where I go and visit him for a month while he’s making a movie and then when he’s not making a movie, he kind of takes charge on being number one parent.
‘Then I go and do all my business stuff, so we really are just tapping each other in and out.’
The Firework singer started dating Orlando in 2016 and they eventually got engaged on Valentine’s Day, three years later.
, at the height of the global pandemic.
However, despite getting engaged three years ago, the lovebirds are still waiting to walk down the aisle.
During a recent interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Katy insisted that they hadn’t tied the knot in secret.
‘Well, no. It’s a destination location…we’re still trying for it to work out,’ she said.
‘But every couple of months it’s like, new variant! New variant! New variant!’
The American Idol judge vowed that, once things get back to ‘normal’, they will be celebrating their nuptials with the wedding of their dreams.
Hopefully we can snag an invite to that big day.
