has been blasted by fans over allegations of ‘horrendous’ Photoshopping in her latest Skims campaign.
The 41-year-old did her best to break the internet , with Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio taking the lead.
In the new pictures, which the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star uploaded on Monday, she revealed that she couldn’t resist ‘jumping’ into – alongside the supermodels.
While the finished products look incredible, followers accused the mom-of-four of editing the America’s Next Top Model host’s figure in the final pictures.
Replying to Kim’s tweet unveiling the campaign, one commented: ‘Your waist looks 1/2 of Tyra Banks’. Does Tyra Banks have a 50 inch waist or is this photo shopped?
Another questioned: ‘Why did you photoshop them? Specifically Tyra???’
A follower said: ‘These pics are stunning but Tyra looked so gorgeous naturally and this editing is so bizarre and unnecessary?’
‘Kim photoshop herself in these pics,’ a Twitter user suggested. ‘Heidi arm In second picture originally around Tyra. Epic fail.’
Instagram account Problematic Fame also pointed out issues in the photoshoot on their stories, branding the alleged editing ‘horrendous and completely unnecessary’.
In a sting of posts, the account – which ‘spreads awareness on how instagram can impact beauty standards’ and boasts 166k followers – posted a behind-the-scenes video of Tyra on set beside her fellow models.
‘Appalled to see the amount of photoshop done to Tyra Banks’ body in Kim Kardashian’s news SKIMS ad campaign. For a brand that prides itself on body positivity and inclusivity, this is low,’ they wrote.
‘In what world does editing Tyra’s body into a clone of Kim’s endorse any sort of body positivity or inclusivity?
‘Tyra’s body is perfect, this photoshop is horrendous and completely unnecessary, disappointing @skims.’
‘Their bodies are nowhere near this identical in real life… This is insane to me,’ they added.
Kim has been met with Photoshop allegations in the past, but has yet to speak out on the claims.
Lifting the lid on how stunning photoshoot came to be, Tyra told Vogue: ‘Kim reached out to me, and we had a beautiful heart-to-heart conversation about the campaign. I’ve respected her business savvy for quite a while, after that call, my respect grew to an even greater level.
‘Kim dropped words of wisdom from her mom that echoed sage advice my mom has shared with me over the years. I hadn’t modeled lingerie and undergarments in so long, but I said yes after speaking with Kim and hearing her thoughtful, loving, and instinctive words!
‘Kim has made her mark in the shapewear industry and hearing her talk about what makes her brand different is inspiring. I lectured for three years at Stanford’s Business School, and the first thing I would tell my students is, “Different is better than better.” With Skims, Kim is embodying that fully.
‘I feel this when I see the products in the world, when I wear the products, how I see them position and market the products. It’s all different. And that’s what makes Skims extra special. I am so proud to collaborate with her and these Icons. Kim, thank you for that heart-to-heart call we had about this campaign. All I can say is, “You were right.”’
