has unveiled her new collaboration with Beats, and it’s unsurprisingly all neutral.
The 41-year-old – who – revealed her latest collaboration today, dropping three new wireless earbud options.
The Skims businesswoman previously confessed that she used to get her own headphones hand-painted so they could fit with her aesthetic, so the Fit Pro collection probably shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
‘I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement,’ she said of the products.
‘This collaboration is special because it allows you to blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that showcase individuality.’
Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Services, couldn’t help but rave about the new headphones – which mark Beats’ first custom collab – adding: ‘Kim brought her signature minimalist style to the first-ever Beats Fit Pro custom headphones.
‘We’re excited to offer Beats’ most innovative headphones in a whole new, gorgeous color palette to music fans and fashion lovers alike.’
The reimagined Beats, which sit at the ‘intersection of fashion and functionality’, are available in the mom-of-four’s signature neutral colors – Moon (light), Dune (medium) and Earth (deep) – and come with matching cases.
They will set fans back $199.99 and will be released in Apple’s online shop on August 16, before hitting select stores the following day.
The announcement comes after Kim made headlines following her split from Saturday Night Live star Pete.
The former couple, dubbed Kete, dated for nine months before calling time on their relationship – with their 13-year age gap and busy schedules thought to be a factor in their break-up.
Although the beauty mogul has not spoken publicly on the news, her ex-husband , posting a disturbing Instagram upload in which he joked that the comedian, who he refers to as Skete, had died.
In the shocking post, which has since been removed, the 45-year-old shared a screenshot of a fake New York Times page, with a headline reading: ‘Skete Davidson dead at age 28.’
A message at the bottom added: ‘Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers.’
An insider later told Metro.co.uk that Kim had ‘vigorously’ defended the Set It Up actor and begged the dad-of-four to take it back.
‘Kim has tried to get Kanye to take it down and has vigorously defended Pete,’ they told us.
‘She very much cares for him and will continue to defend him.’
It seems as though Ye listened, hours after it was set live.
