They are very much a couple, but and are letting their sleeping arrangements lie, for the time being at least.
The 41-year-old reality star and mum of four is currently Saturday Night Live star Pete, 28, and though she is reportedly ‘crazy’ about him, he apparently doesn’t stay overnight at the star’s house just yet because she wants everyone to feel ‘comfortable,’ given that it’s a new relationship.
‘Kim is crazy about Pete. He is spending most of his time in L.A. now. He is slowly getting to know her kids,’ a source told People, adding that the comedian doesn’t stay the night currently.
‘Kim is not pushing it though. Pete doesn’t spend the night at her house because Kim wants it to be a comfortable situation for everyone.’
The insider added that Kim is trying to be ‘very respectful’ of her ex-husband Kanye West, who she filed for divorce from in February last year, after seven years of marriage.
She discussed the reasons behind her split from in the , saying that she turned 40 and realised she needed to have ‘total happiness’ for herself.
‘I never thought I was lonely. I always thought that’s totally fine. I could just have my kids. My husband moves from state to state. And I just am on this ride with him. And I was okay with that,’ she said.
‘Then after turning 40 this year, I realised, “No, I don’t want a husband that lives in a completely different state to me.” I thought, “Oh my God, that’s when we’re getting along the best.” But that is sad to me and that’s not what I want.’
The source added that insisted Kim is ‘very serious’ about her new relationship but wants to be respectful of her ex as well.
‘She wants to be respectful of Kanye too. Kim is just very happy and serious with Pete. Her family loves having him around too. He is very sweet to Kim. Everyone loves seeing her this happy.’
The new It couple has been frequently snapped out and about on various dates; they joined the mogul’s sister Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker for a fun-filled double date with plenty of together.
And although their relationship is relatively new, Kim and Pete have kept details of their budding romance under wraps (apart from the odd Instagram appearence), but anyone can see that love is most certainly in the air for the smitten pair.
