‘Gary announced the gender news without getting Laura’s consent,’ a source close to the star told . ‘She’s really upset by this.’
Gary shared the news in an Instagram post with a photo of a pink crown with ‘daddy’s girl’ written underneath.
It also featured a baby scan and the message: ‘For everyone that’s been asking… let’s hope she inherits her Mummys looks,’ hinting that he’s on good terms with Laura.
Gary also told his followers: ‘Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!’
Lucy recently hit out at the ‘bump police’ after she became a target of trolls for touching her belly.
The mum-to-be has been sharing a series of stunning snaps on Instagram in which the glowing star cradled her bump.
However, she was expecting some trolling, as she began in her caption: ‘Cue the bump police ?’
‘To the people that have some weirdly negative connotation with woman cradling their baby bump- I unfortunately will be growing a human inside of me for the next 5months and will more than likely not know where else to put my hands in a photo ?’ she continued.
