’s friend has said she is ‘unrecognisable’ after being attacked.
The Towie star reportedly went into hiding recently and started staying with a friend at an unknown address after an attack following her newborn baby’s funeral.
Lauren, 35, was reportedly in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The incident occurred hours after she and her ex Charles Drury, 25, had held a funeral for daughter Lorena,  last month.
Reportedly in case of another attack, Lauren is said to have suffered a fractured eye socket.
Lauren’s sister Nicola shared a picture of Lauren’s daughter Larose this week, writing: ‘This gorgeous little girl doesn’t even know how lucky she is to have such a strong amazing mum! As long as you have each other you’ll both be fine.’
Close pal Lauryn Goodman, 31, reposted the snap to her Instagram Story, adding that just looking at the Essex reality star now ‘brings her to tears’.
‘Couldn’t have said this better myself. Seen a few things as well and I’d like to say there are NEVER 2 sides to a story when my friend’s face looks how it does. She is unrecognisable’, she began.
‘Brings me to tears every time I look at her. No amount of lies you tell will ever hide the truth now. Please if anyone ever finds themselves in this situation never think staying quiet or hiding is best.’
Lauryn concluded: ‘Always confide and reach out to people. Better days will come and you aren’t trapped. Promise. Be strong for your little ones.’
In another post, Lauryn described her friend as ‘one of the kindest people I’ve ever met’, telling Lauren that she has a ‘genuine soul’ despite others being ‘quick to judge’ her.
‘You have a genuine soul and would never ever wish bad on anyone. I wish I could take the pain away’, she penned.
‘Larose is so lucky to have such a strong woman mum.’
Lauryn added that she wished others knew how ‘funny’ and ‘beautiful inside and out’ her friend is, despite going through ‘the roughest, darkest, ride in secret.’
‘This is one of the problems with the celeb world and social media. Everyone is so quick to judge every little thing. You’re a real one and trust me things will get better’, she said.
Following the attack on Lauren, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told Metro.co.uk on Friday: ‘Police were called at 00:37hrs on Thursday, 4 August to reports of an altercation at a residential address in Upminster, Essex.
‘A man, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was taken to an east London police station and subsequently bailed pending further enquiries. Enquiries continue.’
Lauren’s reps have been contacted for comment.
