This week, the official Little Mix shared sweet photo montages of the three members, from their final performance to the through the years, since first forming on the in 2011.
It shows then-and-now snaps of Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade, including gifs of their early music videos, photoshoots, performances and the friends simply spending time together
The top posts of the official Little Mix Instagram page now see two montages and a portrait of the three members, coming together to form the phrase: ‘2011 – always.’
The finality of the posts and the way the photographs sit on the top of the page has fans speculating this could be Little Mix’s last-ever post on social media, at least until a time the hiatus is over.
However there is one person conspicuously missing: singer Jesy, who was a member of the band for close to 10 years before leaving in 2020 for mental health reasons.
While Jesy’s decision was supported by her bandmates at the time, their friendships once Jesy launched her solo project.
Her debut single Boyz caused controversy, with Jesy accused of Blackfishing, which she vehemently denied.
The singer, who had teased up with Nicki Minaj for the track, also appeared to be recorded laughing as Nicki insulted her former bandmates during an Instagram live.
While Jesy was in Little Mix when the group was first founded, and spent almost a decade with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade, touring the world and producing six studio albums, she doesn’t feature once in the montages.
The Boyz singer is currently working ‘incredibly hard’ on new music as she prepares to release her debut album, having spent time in the studio in Los Angeles.
