Disgraced Lostprophets musician Ian Watkins has reportedly been stabbed in prison.

It is now being reported that the 46-year-old was attacked by three fellow inmates inside HMP Wakefield after ‘being held hostage and battered’.
A source told that Watkins was found by officers.
They claimed he had been stabbed multiple times and beaten before being freed by prison officers six hours after being taken hostage at around 9am on Saturday morning.
A witness told the outlet paramedics had treated Watkins in an ambulance outside the prison to save his life before he was rushed to hospital.
And a Prison Service spokesperson confirmed police were ‘investigating an incident which took place on Saturday at HMP Wakefield.’
They said they were ‘unable to comment further while the police investigate.’
Watkins was sentenced to 35 years behind bars in 2013 after admitting 13 sex offences, including the attempted rape of a baby.
He also admitted conspiring to rape a child, three counts of sexual assault involving children, seven involving taking, making or possessing indecent images of children and one of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal.
In sentencing in 2013, Mr Justice Royce told Watkins: ‘Those who have appeared in these courts over many years see a large number of horrific cases. This case, however, breaks new ground.
‘I am satisfied that you are a deeply corrupting influence, you are highly manipulative, you are a sexual predator, you are dangerous.
‘The public and, in particular, young females need protection from you.’

Watkins had previously been the frontman of rock band Lostprophets, which found major success in the alternative scene before his crimes were uncovered, with the band having sold over 3.5 million albums worldwide.
