Love Island 2022 is already providing top-tier content after singleton was incorrectly accused of stealing a handbag in Bristol.
No sooner than were released, a woman by the name of Carol reckoned that had swiped her daughter’s accessory.
Taking to Twitter, Carol wrote underneath the ITV2 show’s official announcement: ‘He looks like the man who stole my daughter’s handbag in Sainsbury’s.
‘Can you confirm please if he was in Bristol Sainsburys on March 12?’
Carol’s tweets quickly went viral, with users making memes jokingly showing Andrew at a Sainsbury’s.
Luckily, Andrew’s friends running his social media accounts were on hand to clarify that he was not the perpetrator.

Carol’s tweets also caught the attention of previous Love Island winner Amber Gill, who called for the mum to be roped into Love Island.
She tweeted: ‘Get Carol on the show! NOW! First challenge: Did you steal my daughter’s handbag?’
Love Island responded to Amber with a light-hearted reply containing a number of writing emojis.
‘Speak to challenge team,’ they penned.
Andrew, who originally hails from Guernsey, works as a real estate agent in Dubai.
He’s decided to give Love Island a shot because he’s ‘actually single for once’.
‘This is the best time to give it a go,’ he said.
Divulging what makes him a good partner, Andrew admitted: ‘When I’m with someone I’m very loyal, I’m a good boyfriend as when I’m with someone I’m all for them.’
