The tension brewing between and is going from bad to worse on … and his remarks dubbed ‘vile’ by fans certainly can’t be helping.
On Tuesday night’s episode, the couple continued to argue over Jess acknowledging that she wants to get to know her friend on a more romantic level, after he .
Despite Sammy telling bombshell just the other day that he felt natural sexual attraction with her, he fumed over Jess wanting to explore her own options.
After having it out with each other at the firepit, Jess spoke in the Beach Hut about how she was feeling over their developing situation.
‘I just feel like, have a bit of a taste of your own medicine. Why should I feel like every boy should take advantage of my niceness? Because that is literally what happens every single time,’ she said, a sentiment that many fans have been backing her on.
In his own Beach Hut admission, Sammy then remarked: ‘Without sounding quite bad, I was Jess’ type. She wasn’t mine. I’m the one that’s sort of worked to… try something new explore Jess and now she’s trying to play games. Nah!’
Sammy shook his head while grinning at his own remarks… and fans were furious about what he had to say about Jess behind her back.
‘Sammy clearly thinks he’s so much better than Jess and it’s vile to watch,’ one person tweeted.
‘Sammy’s comment about Jess was lowkey nasty…’ another wrote.
Someone else expressed how in shock they were by Sammy’s ‘audacity’, stating: I’m sorry but who gave Sammy the audacity.’
Another shared: ‘Eww not Sammy acting like he’s doing Jess a favour.’
During Tuesday night’s episode, the islanders were treated to a lovely brunch in their couples… before Maya Jama arrived to crash the party.
She revealed that in their pairs, they all had to vote for the two couples who they thought were the least compatible.
Later that night, it emerged that Jess and Sammy, as well as Mitch and Leah, had received the most votes, resulting in all four of them being declared single.
But, that’s not all… as two new bombshells headed into the villa, ready to take them on dates.
Will heads turn? We’ll have to wait and see.
Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
