star has revealed she regrets not standing up for herself when threw her some shade in the villa.
The dancer didn’t have the easiest ride in Spain and was rejected multiple times over the summer by , Jacques O’Neill, Davide Sanclimenti, Jay Younger and Josh Le Grove.
But the 21-year-old’s fortune did change and she eventually found a lasting connection with before being dumped from the ITV2 programme.
While the Leicester lass is still dating the football player, she has been ruminating over some of the other relationships she forged in Mallorca.
In particular, Danica said she wishes she had confronted Paige, 24, over her behaviour on the night Antigoni Buxton, 26, was booted off the show.
She explained: ‘Not gonna lie now I’ve watched it back, I’ve seen how Paige was when Antigoni left and it was very clear she wanted me to go.’
It was a very tense dumping, with the boys given the power to kick either Danica, Antigoni or Tasha Ghouri off the island.
After rewatching the show when she returned to the UK, Danica told she became aware that Paige was trying to influence the tough decision.
She went on to say: ‘I wish I’d said hang on do you know how that makes me feel, I’ve done nothing wrong. And you’re blatantly mouthing things across the firepit to insinuate like what the hell why is Danica here but again I’ve had time to move past that.
‘But in the moment, looking back, I wish I’d said things.’
Overall, Danica said revisiting her Love Island scenes made her feel ‘sad’ because she ‘let a lot of things slide.’
‘Watching it back, I’m not angered but I wish I’d just said, you’re not going to be rude to me,’ she revealed.
‘I do feel sad watching it back, I see some of the looks and comments I would get. But it’s fine, if people don’t like me that’s on them really.’
‘It’s all cool now. I left the villa feeling like my big dysfunctional family. I’ve got a lot of love, it’s just watching it back you’re a bit like…. Hm.’
Earlier this week, Danica dished out more gossip on her time on Love Island, confirming on Instagram she had .
She was approached by a talent management company back in January, with the firm’s staff ‘arranging her application and interview’.
Danica let her followers know she had been ‘so busy at the moment running around attending amazing events, photoshoots and appearances.’
The reality star wrote: ‘Thank you to the team at Neon Management, they contacted me in January and arranged my application & interview with @loveisland and made the dream come true.
‘I’m so excited for this new chapter in my life.’
