winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu and her partner are taking the next step in their relationship by moving in together.
The couple, who are both 27, stormed the final of the ITV2 dating show earlier this month and were crowned champions after securing a mammoth 63.7% of the public vote.
Since exiting the Majorcan villa, it’s not only been confirmed that, but they’ll also live together in Essex.
An ‘over the moon’ Ekin-Su shared news of their next chapter during an appearance on Monday’s Lorraine with Christine Lampard.
‘Davide’s in Manchester, I’m here right now, it’s all just surreal,’ Ekin-Su beamed. ‘I just don’t know what to say, that’s how excited and happy I am.’
She then announced the bombshell, which will help them to overcome the current distance between them. ‘So, basically, we’ve decided that we are moving in together,’ Ekin-Su added. ‘Confirmed.’
‘It’s official?’ Christine asked, to which Ekin-Su replied: ‘It’s official and we are thinking to move at the end of September, possibly to Essex, which is where I’m from.’
Ekin-Su explained that Davide has yet to step foot in her hometown.
‘It’s so nice because it’s near London, easy to travel to, bit of countryside, but then also that edginess to it as well,’ she continued. ‘But I’m very, very excited.’
It’s been non-stop for Ekin-Su and Davide following their Love Island victory, with the pair revealing on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast on Saturday that they’ll soon travel to Italy and Turkey to meet each other’s families and explore their cultures.
‘We are going to road trip to Italy and Turkey,’ Ekin-Su shared. ‘So one week in Italy, one week in Turkey and we’re going to be on ITV2 so it’s going to be like our own programme.’
She added that viewers will also get to see them cook for each other as well as argue passionately, which became their hallmark during the dating series.
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV.
