star has hit back at nasty comments after her stint on The Weakest Link.
Tasha joined the Christmas special alongside the likes of Natalie Cassidy and Sam Nixon, but was unfortunately eliminated early on, after confusion over a question relating to the Concorde.
Host asked the 23-year-old: ‘In transport, which commercial airliner built in a joint venture between the UK and France could fly at twice the speed of sound?’
‘Jet 2,’ Tasha replied, before being voted out.
She added in a confessional later: ‘In the moment you just freeze and my heart is thumping so quick. You don’t know what question you’re going to get.
‘I think with the Concorde question, I’ve actually never heard of Concorde before.
‘So I kind of went with Jet2, because I feel Jet2 is a well-known airline.
‘I just thought, you know what, stick with my gut and I just said that.’
However, fans didn’t take too kindly to her mistake, with many ‘taking it way too seriously’ on social media.
This prompted a Tweet from Tasha: ‘I think people are forgetting with Weakest Link I didn’t hear most of the questions bcos they’re read out very quickly and it’s the first time I’ve met Romesh / heard his voice.
‘I did it for a laugh and charity. People are taking it way too seriously – that’s why I just laughed it off and had fun with it.’
She was showered with support, with one fan writing: ‘You made it entertaining don’t listen to the haters,’ while another penned: ‘You did the best you could do and that’s all anyone can ask for!’
Tasha, who met boyfriend Andrew Le Page on Love Island, made history as the reality series’ first deaf contestant.
