star Tyla Carr has recalled a horrific car accident that left her with multiple broken bones and in need of an emergency nose job.
Tyla, 29, appeared on the ITV2 dating show back in 2017, with the series won by Amber Davies and Kim Cetinay.
She has now shared that she was involved in a crash when driving a Fiat 500, which turned a corner ‘a little too quickly’ and spun out of control.
The reality TV star said the roads were ‘slippery,’ causing her major injuries while holidaying in Mallorca.
Tyla ended up with a broken finger, a broken arm and also injured her nose, but still has fears she hasn’t healed fully.
Speaking to about the crash for the first time, Tyla said: ‘I was just living in Mallorca at the time and I was driving to my friend’s house literally around the corner and they say out in Mallorca that the roads get super, super slippery.
‘It’s something, how they make the roads and it gets really oily on the top of the road and it rains a lot. So I was driving and I just turned the corner, but maybe turned the corner a little bit too quickly.’
She added that ‘the car just spun out’ and she ‘went up the curb and drove into someone’s brick wall.’
Describing her injuries, Tyla continued: ‘I lost full control of the car. I ended up breaking my wedding ring finger, my arm and my nose pretty badly where I needed an emergency operation on my nose to fix it up.’
But, despite the influencer being told her nose had been ‘fixed,’ she was told her nose actually hand’t been ‘knocked back into place’ when attending a consultation later on in England.
She said her nose was becoming more sore with time and the skin was very thin, to the point where she was constantly cutting it.
Thankfully, she feels ‘a lot happier’ now after having more cosmetic surgery to heal her nose, which has benefited all aspects of her life.
‘Now I just feel so much better. Like I’m a lot happier. I’m a lot happier with the way that it looks. I can breathe better. All around it’s really, really helped,’ she shared.
The Instagram star shot to fame following her stint on Love Island, where she enjoyed brief flings with Mike Thalassitis and Jonny Mitchell.
She now shares three-year-old son with ex boyfriend Rossco Edmonds, whom she first met in Mallorca a decade ago.
Love Island is in a matter of weeks, where will be hoping to find romance and leave with the cash prize.
