Frozen food sales have reached new heights, with Iceland’s CEO now pledging free kebab meat for life, saying how much they would ‘love to work with him’.

It comes after Littler – known as The Nuke – became an overnight sensation and took the internet by as in the Championship.

Following his daily mentions of kebabs, supermarket chain Iceland reported that their frozen doner kebab sales have increased by 25%.

Customers were big fans, especially of their popular Grill House Doner Kebab range in the run-up to Littler’s

On Wednesday, before sales reached a high when darts lovers got into the spirit of things by settling down to watch the action with a kebab on their plate.

Iceland is so chuffed, in fact, that they’ve hinted Littler could become the face of their brand in the future, giving those old-school Kerry Katona ads a run for their money.

CEO Richard Walker told : ‘I’m going to invite him to any one of our three shops in Warrington and he can have free kebab meat for life.’

‘I’m hoping he will take us up on our offer,’ he added.

‘I would meet him there and give him a hero’s welcome.

‘He has captured the nation’s hearts and is an incredible young man who has achieved something extraordinary.’

When quizzed on how Iceland and Littler could collaborate, the boss added: ‘We would love to work with him, never say never, but I’m sure he’s very busy right now!’

Despite the tournament now being over, Mr Walker is hopeful that Littler will continue to help their sales boom.

His comments come after an Iceland spokesperson previously said they would ‘love’ for Littler to ‘visit his hometown Iceland store in Warrington’ where they vowed to ‘reserve some frozen kebab meat for him especially.’

‘You never know, he could become the face of Iceland frozen doner meat in the future, but for now, we’ll let him focus on his darts!’Â
