Machine Gun Kelly found a rather ironic way to put bums on seats in cinemas for his new film, by getting his own out to promote it.

The musician, who acts under his real name Colson Baker, shared a set of interesting behind-the-scenes photos and videos from his latest movie Good Mourning.

Risking the wrath of Instagram, MGK chose the most revealing photo to share with his followers, showing him standing n**ed.n**ed with only a small towel to cover his modesty.

In the risque snap, the 32-year-old rapper stands in the middle of a large bathroom posing in the nude, appearing to be in between scenes, as a crew member was busy fixing the bathtub behind him.

‘I did 5 whole sit-ups (and 200 blunts) to prep for my role in Good Mourning. ???,’ he cheekily captioned the post.

In a short video, MGK is seen bursting a water balloon against a co-star who looks shocked as he becomes drenched.

However, he seemed to return the favour as another brilliant shot shows MGK also being smashed in the face with a water-filled balloon and it doesn’t look like he saw it coming.

One photo shows MGK, who will make his directorial debut with the stoner comedy, and co-director Mod Sun posing with a huge joint.

Mod Sun, whose girlfriend Avril Lavigne will be making a cameo in the film as herself, commented: ‘This is your greatest post yet.’

MGK will also have his real life love making an appearance, as his fiancee Megan Fox is set to star as his love interest, alongside Pete Davidson, Becky G, Dove Cameron and Whitney Cummings, making for quite a star-studded cast.

Good Mourning centres on London Clash (MGK), a movie star who is forced to choose between chasing his one true love or a once-in-a-lifetime movie role.

Good Mourning is currently showing in select cinemas across the US and on-demand.
