thrilled fans after she revealed that the North rescheduled dates would be announced shortly.
The star, 64, confirmed that – pushed back due to a recent – would take place immediately following the originally announced UK and Europe shows.
Ahead of her newly arranged fixtures, the for the previously scheduled shows will be honoured on the amended tour dates.
Despite her assuring fans she would be taking to the stage once more, her news excluded Los Angeles and one date in when it came to honouring tickets due to a venue change.
The singer also explained that she regretted the inconvenience to fans and hoped to make it up to those markets in the future after cancelling a handful of shows amongst the rescheduling.
will officially kick off with four sold-out performances in London this October, followed by shows across Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands throughout the remainder of 2023.
Following her announcement, the North American leg is set to begin on December 13, in Brooklyn at Barclays Center.
Madonna regretfully said that she needed to cancel shows in Tulsa, Nashville, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Phoenix, offering refunds for the dates at the original point of purchase.
Her confirmation that she was heading back out onto the road came after a scary health issue saw her spend earlier this summer.
A statement from her manager Guy Oseary explained at the time: ‘On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a which led to a several-day stay in the ICU (intensive care unit).
‘Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.
‘At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.
‘We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.’
The Celebration Tour will feature music from her catalogue across four decades and has been billed as a ‘one-of-a-kind experience’.
Madonna’s upcoming extravaganza is also set to feature special guest Bob the Drag Queen – real name Caldwell Tidicue – across all dates.
It will be her first tour since her Madame X shows, which ended in 2020 – though some of these performances were called off due to knee and hip injuries.
