has asked for prayers for her family after her daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell .
The reality star, 44, took to Instagram on Friday night as she explained that things ‘had changed in our lives the last few weeks that are totally out of our control’ as she acknowledged that none of them had been responding to messages.
Her 29-year-old daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January, but stopped chemotherapy earlier this year after doctors deemed her terminal.
Mama June had previously shared thatand had been sleeping a lot.
Anna rose to fame on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, an American reality show focused on her family and sister – now 18 – pageants.
‘God has all their faith, has all the cards, but Anna is still with us,’ Mama June shared in a video message.
‘But as we are going through this transition, we are asking still for continued prayers for Anna, continued prayers for the family.’
Sharing her appreciation for everyone reaching out, she added: ‘We see all your messages even though we’re not responding back to y’all.’
‘I’m going to sign off, this will be my last message. When that time does come, we will also as a family come to y’all on social media because Anna would not have it any f***ing other way.’
‘But we love you guys, and continue to pray for us as a family. So please don’t take it offensive when we don’t answer your text messages, we don’t answer your messages here on Instagram, on TikTok or on Facebook,’ she pleaded.
‘We’re spending this time as a family and our enjoying our moments and making memories.’
June’s 23-year-old daughter, reposted her mum’s message and wrote: ‘Say a prayer for our family.’
Annac, who last updated her followers on social media in November after finishing radiation treatment, is mum to two children, Kaitlyn, 11, and Kylee, eight, who she shares with ex-husband Michael Cardwell.
After suffering from stomach aches, she was diagnosed with adrenal carcinoma but it had also spread to her lungs, liver and kidney.
This form of cancer is mostly found in children under five or adults in their 40s and 50s but can occur at any age.
It is unclear what causes the condition, but symptoms include weight gain, muscle weakness, back pain, abdominal bloating, nausea and vomiting.
Mama June shared in July that the children were ‘aware’ of Anna’s diagnosis but Kaylee was ‘too young to really comprehend’ what was happening.
She added that Kaitlyn had become ‘clingy’ knowing that her mum is sick and confessed to : ‘For me, it’s an emotional rollercoaster sometimes. Mentally it’s always on my mind.’
Anna is June’s eldest child, with the Dancing With The Stars contestant also mom to Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon, 26, Lauryn, and Alana.
Alana, the famed ‘Honey Boo Boo’, first found fame on Toddlers and Tiaras, before landing her own reality series.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo ran for two years from August, 2012, and followed the family in their home in Georgia.
