Former Towie star has admitted that he was left feeling both shaken and stirred at the news wife could be turning Bond girl.

While the next Bond film hasn’t even been announced, that hasn’t stopped speculation about who might star in it.
With Aaron Taylor-Johnson bookies’ favourite to take on the mantle of Bond, Keegan has emerged their favourite pick for co-lead, as his glam sidekick.
Keegan entered the running following the success of her Netflix thriller Fool Me Once, in which she stars as former army pilot Maya Stern, and she remains beloved by audiences after starring in Corrie for six years and for her role as army medic Georgia Stern in the BBC’s Our Girl.
She has been backed by Bookmaker Coral at odds of 4-5 to take female lead in the long-running spy series inevitable next instalment – beating out the likes of Jodie Comer and Margot Robbie for the top job.
However, news of her potential appointment as Bond girl has left husband Mark Wright, 37, feeling as though his own dreams have been ‘shattered.’
Speaking out on his radio show on Heart FM, the presenter shared his thoughts on Michelle’s chances of getting the job – fearing that his wife’s new gig could affect any chances he might have had of stepping into Bond’s shoes himself.
‘If she’s the next Bond girl, it would be totally weird if I’m Bond,’ Wright joked. ‘I’ll fight her for it. That is my dream shattered of being the next Bond himself!’
The former The Only Way Is Essex star added: ‘When she sits there and reads news that she’s in the running to be the next Bond girl, she’s like ‘nah, no chance. I’m not having it!’ But when you think about it, why not?’
‘They’ve put her in the mix with Jodie Comer, who also could be running for it as well, and in the past we’ve had Rosamund Pike, Monica Bellucci, Halle Berry – just imagine if Michelle is the next Bond girl!’ he continued.
‘I don’t know if you get like this at work, you do something really good but you don’t realise that and you’re just modest and that’s what’s so good about the fact that she is like that, humble. And I absolutely love that, imagine that,’ Wright gushed.
Mark and Michelle have been together since December 2012 and got engaged the following year.
After a two year engagement, the couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony.
In 2019, the couple bought a piece of land in Essex for £1.3m and have built the home of their dream from scratch, regularly sharing their interior design tip on their mansion’s own official Instagram page.
