Married At First Sight star Jessika Power launches legal action after ‘identity stolen’ on On***ans

Married At First Sight Australia star Jessika Power has claimed someone has stolen her On***ans identity and was selling her content online.

Opening up about the claims this week, the reality star said her security team ‘had been in court all week’ after someone allegedly used her identity to illegally sell her pics.

It comes after several MAFS Australia stars from behind a paywall and land online, and according to Jess, another account had allegedly been set up in her name to cash in on her image.

Jessika, who found fame on the sixth season of the Australian series, said: ‘This person has got my same name, all my [On***ans] videos. So, obviously, they’ve paid money to have my videos, and they’ve been selling them.’

She added to : ‘My security team have been in court for like, the whole week because some freak has been selling my pictures.’

On***ans’ terms and conditions prohibit the distribution of users’ content, which is behind a paywall users subscribe to. Jessika charges $15 (£8) per month for subscriptions, and currently has a copyright warning on her page.

The statement reads: ‘The copyright of the material contained on my On***ans page (Including All Images & Video material) is owned by Me: Jessika Power. You do not have permission to Use, Copy, Reproduce, Print or Play any of My material outside of My On***ans page. Failure to comply with this Will result in Legal action taken against the person whos information You used to sign up with IE Your/Their Bank Details. Copyright 2021. All rights reserved. [sic].’

Jessika’s claims follow news a subreddit was shut down after it emerged people had sourced and distributed On***ans content including Jessika on the page.

According to , content L***ed ranged ‘from semi-n**ed.n**ed and topless pictures to videos of some of the contestants performing sex acts’.

The outlet reported Jessika’s ‘management acted fast to remove any of her content from the private group’.

Reddit said in a statement at the time: ‘This subreddit was banned due to a violation of Reddit’s content policy against creating or repurposing a sub to reconstitute or serve the same objective as a previously banned or quarantined subreddit.’

After launching her On***ans page last year, Jessika claimed she’d made $50,000 (£28K) in her first few days, with her income reaching $300K (£173K) after four months.

However, not long after joining, she revealed people had L***ed her images as she fumed: ‘The people on here leaking my videos… you’re only ruining it for everyone else because I’ll pull back on them.

‘So stop being a d**k and just enjoy the content like the rest of my amazing subscribers.’
