This year’s Met Gala theme was Gilded Glamour with a white tie dress code, so Brooklyn was on-the-money with his pristine white suit.
The couple gave a , with Brooklyn’s diamond band said to be worth between $40,000-$50,000 (£31,800 – £39,700), with each diamond around 0.7 carats for approximately 6.5 carats in total. Less is known about Nicola’s wedding band but her engagement ring is an emerald-cut diamond solitaire, thought to be five carats, on a band of platinum or white gold, and worth .
Taking place in New York City, it was the first official public appearance for the newlyweds, who have been enjoying some downtime in the US since their lavish $3million (£2.3million) wedding at Nicola’s family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
They’ve been making the most of their honeymoon period by jetting around the States, after previously being photographed in Santa Monica, California, shopping at a luxury supermarket, while Brooklyn also recently unwound from the hustle and bustle of the wedding on a sunny day.
Brooklyn and Nicola married at her family’s sprawling £76m estate on April 9.
His former footballer dad David, along with his brothers Romeo and Cruz, acted as Brooklyn’s groomsmen, while several of Nicola’s best friends appeared as her bridesmaids. Brooklyn’s 10-year-old sister Harper Beckham was also a bridesmaid.
A-list guests included tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams, Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, TV chef Gordon Ramsay, and Victoria’s Spice Girls bandmates Mel B and Mel C.
