Tommy Dorfman went all out as she made her debut in a Christopher Kane gown.
The star, who came out as trans last year, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York on Monday evening.
She joined stars including Venus Williams, Blake Lively and for the ceremony, .
The 29-year-old couldn’t let the occasion go without dressing up to the nines, donning a green latex gown with gold detailing.
Her hair was scraped into a bun, and she completed the look with strappy heels and a bag which was adorned with the message: ‘Protect trans kids.’
Of course, fans went wild for the look and flooded Tommy with praise on social media.
‘Tommy dorfman is literally a queen #MetGala #MetGala2022,’ a follower penned.
‘She is literally ethereal oh my god,’ another agreed.
‘Her bag says protect trans kids…love her,’ an impressed fan said.
As a Twitter user added: ‘Omg Tommy is so gorgeous. I love her dress so much.’
Christopher revealed the thoughts behind the gown and explained that Tommy had a huge hand in it.
‘I met Tommy at our friend Lena Dunham’s wedding last year and we had a lot of fun — I have been a fan of her activism and modeling for a while’ the designer told .
‘She then contacted me after my Fall/Winter 2022 show saying how she would love to wear some pieces for events and naturally, the subject of the Met came up.
‘It made perfect sense.’
